“Paradise Beer Factory” is a beer brewery operated by “Kashima Paradise”.
Kashima Paradise began in 2008 when I moved to Kashima City as a new farmer. Our goal is to make this world “PARADISE” by creating products that are delicious, comfortable, good for the body, and good for the earth.”
All 18ha of fields are natural farming every year. We grow about 50 types of vegetables with soybeans, barley, wheat and rice.
“Paradise” is nice, isn’t it? Okinawa and Hawaii are paradises, but I want everything in my daily life to be a paradise. I want to create a society where people can create not only food, but also clothing, sheltere and energy by ourselves, by focusing on the things we touch on a daily basis.”
Rather than eliminating important things in the pursuit of productivity and efficiency, I would like to create a world where “cherishing important things” is the norm.

Mother Earth
The term Mother Earth'' is often used, and everything in this world is born from the earth. Agricultural products are easy to imagine, but iron, oil, gold, silver, glass, and rubber all come from the earth. In other words,There is nothing that is not born from the earth.”
It all starts with sowing the seeds
When we start something, we start by sowing seeds. The Paradise Charter, which serves as our behavioral guideline, states, “We do not make cheap purchases.” The malt that accounts for 97% of beer ingredients is sown this year for brewing the following year. Normally, you can get it right away by ordering it, but it takes two years to make the malt.

We create the ideal product from the seed. We create everything in our lives one by one. Aiming for a paradise where both the earth and body are happy.
Craft Beer
All starts “Sowing the Seeds”
Our craft beer is said to be the only beer in the world that uses "100% natural farming malt'' and the only brewery in the world that produces its own annual amount of beer barley.”
I wonder why people don’t make beer from barley cultivation. That’s what I thought “Barley” is a major grain that is grown all over the world, and it seems like there is no one in the world who doesn’t know about it.
Try it, I see!
The process is as follows: Sowing barley → Harvesting → Mechanical drying → Refrigerated storage (for half a year until germination inhibitors are reduced) → Malt processing (outsourced) → Start of use (refrigerated storage).
In foreign countries, the process is sowing the barley, drying it, harvesting it, piling it up in the sun, drying it in the sun, processing it, and then starting using it (storing it at room temperature).Since the malt is processed in large quantities over a large area, it is possible to provide it at a low price.
If you do the math, the price will be four times as much, including malt processing, electricity and agricultural machinery.
Let’s make it ourselves from wheat! ! Now, I calculated that the malt, which accounts for 97% of beer ingredients, is four times as much! You’d be surprised if that happened… So in the end, no one does it, so it’s the only one in the world.
Holy Spring Water
“Water” is important, isn’t it? We use the holy water of Kashima Jingu Shrine which has been flowing since the ancient Jomon period and have a history of 2,600 years since the First Emperor Jinmu, as our water for brewing. As a result of a water quality survey, this spring water had a hardness of 95 (about twice the Japanese average), and was suitable for ale beer, which is said to be better if it has a higher hardness. I tried to sample water from the highest point and checked three other places at the same time, but when I saw the results, I felt like I was being told to brew ale with this holy water.
Even now, I go back and forth with the 20L water tank in our hands every time I prepare for our beer.
Hops?
The auxiliary ingredients, coriander seeds, orange peel, chili pepper, and Japanese pepper, are natural farming.
We only use hops from the West Coast of the United States.
We used to make our own hops in Japan.
In my second year of brewing, I connected with an organic hop farmer on the West Coast and was allowed to participate in the harvest there every year, but when I saw and smelled the hops for the first time there, I thought, “Oh, I’m going to stop making hops in Japan.” and. The most important thing in agriculture is the right crop in the right place. Even if you force yourself to create something, it is no match for the right crop in the right place. Hops grown in semi-arid regions with continuous sunny skies at high latitudes require no pesticides, and even though they are the same variety, they are completely different plants! ? The level was so different.
Since then, I have given up on growing soybeans in Japan and continue to sow soybeans in hop fields with the intention of growing them locally in the future (though they are mostly used as food for deer).

弥栄 / Saison
100%自然栽培麦芽を使用した風味豊かな味わい。モルトのしっかりとした飲みごたえがクセになる美味しさ。オーガニックホップのリッチな香りと苦味がアクセントです。
5daughters / Sake ale
自然栽培のお米で作る日本酒(パラダイ酒)由来の天然酵母で醸した、ホワイトエール。華やかな香りと乳酸菌発酵ならではの優しい酸味があり、女性にも大人気!
Buazizi / Session IPA
黄金色で柑橘系のアロマホップが効いたエールビール。ライトな口当たりと爽やかな後味が特徴のオールラウンダー。食事と合わせて飲むのがオススメです。
8/SHRINE / white ale
コリアンダーとオレンジピールが香るフルーティなスタイル。苦味なども少なくすっきりした味わいがお好きな方にオススメ。




DAKHLA / Dark ale
いわゆる黒ビールの一つで、ろローストされたモルトが香る深いコクが特徴。苦味少なめで飲みやすく、一度飲んだらファンになる方も少なくないスタイル。
GOA / IPA
強いホップの香りと苦味があり、個性が強い味わいが特徴。苦味が強いビールが好きな方にピッタリ。
MELILLA / Pale ale
爽やかな柑橘系の香りと苦味のバランスが程よい、琥珀色のビール。エールビールならではの複雑な味と香りを楽しむには、もってこいです。いつものビールに飽きた方にオススメ。
FELHLER / Lager
